Thailand: a Belgian tourist was killed in a road accident

Five people, including a Belgian tourist died Monday after falling from a bus into a ravine in northern Thailand, according to Thai police. Foreign Affairs has not yet confirmed the information.

The accident, which occurred in Phitsanulok province, has 53 injured, some seriously. "According to preliminary information, the bus driver lost control of the vehicle," said the local police. The bus was the liaison between Udon Thani, north-east, and the popular tourist destination of Chiang Mai, located about 650 kilometers north of Bangkok.
